We CAN Recycle Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded as a way to make a difference on several serious issues facing Houston, America and our planet.
Our mission is:
To reduce pollution and greenhouse gasses.
To raise awareness about the importance of recycling.
To support our local economy through waste diversion.
To promote recycling as a way to reduce the strain on our landfills.

Mr. Austin also sits on the Board of Directors of The State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) and is a steering committee member of the Gulf Coast Recycling Council of STAR

Recognized by the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) As a "Friend Of Glass 2010" For creating recycling awareness and glass container recycling achievements.
Received the 2009 State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) Award for Outstanding Solid Waste Management Program
Received an Honorable Mention in the 24th Annual Mayor's Proud Partner Awards competition (2008)
